Hepburn’s Passive House Cottage

Located near Australia largest concentration of mineral springs, APHI Projects have recently completed a two bedroom ‘passive house’ retreat in picturesque Hepburn.

Design and constructed by APHI Projects, this contemporary build aims to compliment the heritage cottage at the front of the property. It sets a standard for self-sufficiency and provides a comfortable, open concept and eclectic space to host your vacation and family and friends.

The concept cottage uses the compact Zehnder CA180 MVHR system supplied by Fantech, is installed in cabinetry above the refrigerator. Its integrated attenuator design provides noise reduction, making it ideal for low noise operation in 1 to 2 bedroom cottages and apartments.

A key feature of this project is that it’s going to hit the short term accommodation market very soon allowing prospective Passive House adopters to experience and appreciate the less immediately obvious aspects of a Passive House!
